Monaco is a fantastic and unique place to visit. If you plan on staying there for more than just a short break then you will want to find somewhere to rent.
You can rent accommodation for as low as around 1000 € for a studio appartment, to well over 50,000 € a month for something substantially larger.
When renting homes you are limited to the changes and improvements you can make on the property. It can depend on the time in the property market, and mortgage interest rates on whether it is worth renting or buying a property.
The same applies for renting out your property. It will not always be a positive investment, but as long as you can manage to get the rent to meet the mortgage payments, then it is likely a sound investment for a Monaco property. A yield of between 5-7% can be expected.
How you sort out your property and accommodation in Monaco will be somewhat due to how frequently you visit. If you are just going once or twice a year, perhaps to watch the Grand Prix, then you are best to just rent a vacation home. If plan on spending more time there then you could consider a purchase, and rent it out for the periods the property is vacant.
