Overview
The Brazilian Grand Prix is held in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil at the Interlagos circuit. The Interlagos circuit is regarded as one of the most exciting and challenging circuits on the Formula One calendar. First added to the F1 calendar in 1973, it is rare that the circuit in its modern form is one of the few with a long history in Formula One. The Brazilian GP decided the World Championship for the first time in 2005, before that it was regularly in the first 3 events on the Calendar. The GP is held over 71 Laps on the 4.309 km (2.677 mi) Circuit.
