The Princess Grace Theatre was originally named the Beaux-Arts Theater, and was built in 1930 by the Societe des Bains de Mer. Because of Princess Grace's interest in theatrical arts, the old theater was renovated and renamed after her. Back then it housed a stage and movie screen. Today one can see the very best of French plays during the autumn and winter season. The amateur English Drama Group puts on plays in English in the fall and spring.
